This is a practical course in scaling ionograms for both students and young scientists, as well as more established researchers who would like to gain experience in scaling, analyzing and interpreting ionograms from modern systems. ionospheric studies, remote sensing, navigation, communication, and space exploration. This one-day tutorial will provide young students, experts and participants from various URSI Commissions with an integrated understanding of time and frequency concepts, atomic frequency standards, time dissemination methods, and international time synchronization practices based on Coordinated Universal Time (UTC).
